Pozzi-Arosio was among the first companies in Italy to enter the polyurethane field:
thanks to special agreements and partnerships with worldwide leading manufacturers.
This polyurethane foam allows producing objects having a very compact surface.
The finished product is aesthetically valuable and resistant to wear. The mould accurately copies the mold surface pattern and seems like covered by real leather to the touch.
This type of products can be obtained through resin or metal molds, equipped with thermostation. They usually operate at a temperature ranging from 40°C to 50°C. The molded product is usually black or neutral, but, through the “in mold coating” technique, also colours of the RAL or NCS tables can be realized.
The products obtained can be thin, cover inserts, be thicker and assure a strong flexibility.
Both high and low pressure foaming machines are used for the production.

The INTEGRAL polyurethane system assures a perfect reproduction of the surface of any material is taken as a model, either it is leather, fabric, wood, stone or anything else.
The resin or metal molds reproduce accurately the model and allow recreating with one shot the object even if with a convoluted shape, inserting directly into the mold also the potential internal metal or plastic structure.
The AROFILL formulate of POZZI-AROSIO is used to produce furniture elements, complements, medical accessories and much else.
The production process
The production process provides some stages of preparation of the mold with dedicated products:
• A special mix of solvent especially produced go grant the optimal release of final piece.
• A special coating is spreading on the mold.
• Metal insert are fitting on the mold before to close it.
• Polyurethane System is spread into the mold with dosing machine- high or low pressure.
• The correct choice of Polyurethane System will generate the better result and optimal characteristics.
