Polyurethane system for hard and structural applications such as furniture and architectural moldings.
Processing of high-density rigid polyurethane foam is the result of years of technical evolution.
It is a particularly versatile material with molded density ranging from 40 to 400 gr/lt. This range of use makes it an ideal material in furniture applications, for parts of a few hundred grams up to several kilograms. Finished molded parts have mechanical characteristics comparable to real wood, are very easy to be cut, drilled, painted and assembled.
The manufacturing process for rigid polyurethane foam uses epoxy resin molds with reinforced metal frames. The molds are placed on an automatic carousel and operate at temperatures ranging from 35°C to 45°C. The production process can use either our high or low pressure dosing machines (SAIP Equipment). Parts can be painted or given a high quality decorative finish using our DIP-PRINT technology.

How it’s made
The realisation of components involves some phases to prepare the mold with special products, later the resin that will shape the product is injected through a dosing machine.
